Try this recipe for our delicious and nutritious Groothie®

2 organic Apples (approx. 16 oz)
3 to 4 ripe Bananas (approx. 12 oz)
2 organic Pears* (approx. 16 oz)
4 oz organic Kale* (approx. 2 cups)
2 cups of filtered water

Preparation:
Wash fruit and leafy greens. Cut apples and pears into quarters. Add all ingredients into blender and blend to a smooth consistency.

Helpful hints:
*Apples and bananas are permanent staples in the recipe but we encourage Groothie® drinkers to vary the fruit and leafy greens. Instead of pear you can try mango, pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, etc. Other leafy greens include spinach, collard greens, Swiss chard, etc. Have fun!

Frozen bananas are great in smoothies. Allow bananas to ripen (freckled brown), peel and remove skin, and freeze.

Groothie® is best consumed within 24 to 48 hours.
