Lisa Maguire

Founder and President

Lisa Beth Maguire is Founder and President of Get Real Get Raw. Her work in this capacity is derived from her holistic ethic and from the simple truth that real, raw, organic foods can heal the mind and body. Fueled by her own healing from painful arthritis and fibromyalgia, Lisa hopes that Get Real Get RAW can help educate humanity on the powers of raw foods. Lisa’s goal is to show people how easy and powerful it is to feed their bodies nutritionally. Lisa’s programs teach how to make green smoothies, the Groothie, made of fruits, and leafy greens and supplying fresh fruit to schools for snack. She believes that health is about educated choices; what we choose to put into our bodies and what we choose not to.

An Indiana native, Lisa headed to Massachusetts for college, earning her undergraduate degree in physics and art history from Smith and Wheaton Colleges. Upon graduation, Lisa became an award winning sales professional for Xerox and Metropolitan Life. She is also a graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she received a Master of Business Administration degree. In 1992 Lisa and her husband acquired and restored a beautiful historic property in South Bend IN and opened The Oliver Inn Bed & Breakfast. Lisa is world-traveled and one day would like Get Real Get Raw to help change the lives of people beyond the United States.

Today, Lisa practices her zeal for good health on family and friends as well as her dogs, cats and horses. She is a certified raw chef, a certified horse masseuse, certified level II Reiki, and a rebounding (mini trampoline) activist. Her holistic approach to optimal health has served as the foundation for her own journey healed her from crippling arthritis.

Lisa resides in rural Philadelphia with her husband, four daughters and a plethora of animals.

Jamie Maguire

Board Member

Mr. James J. Maguire, Jr.’s 24 year career in the insurance business began underwriting and marketing directors & officers (D&O) liability, errors & omissions, and fidelity products to for-profit and financial organizations. In this capacity he joined CNA Insurance Companies, Great American Insurance Companies and AIG. Mr. Maguire joined Philadelphia Insurance Companies in 1996 as a Vice President of Underwriting responsible for the Specialty Lines Underwriting Division and authored their innovative EXECUTIVE SAFEGUARD policy. He was named to the Company’s Board of Directors in 1999 and promoted to Executive Vice President & COO, responsible for overseeing and coordinating all functional areas of the Company. Three years later, he was promoted to President & CEO with responsibility for all company operations. He currently serves as Chairman and CEO, a position he’s held since February of 2010.

Jamie holds a B.S. in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He is a past Trustee of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and currently serves on the Boards of the American Red Cross, the City Avenue Special Services District, Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia, Saint Joseph’s University, Saint Joseph’s University Academy of Risk Management and Insurance. He enjoys tennis, playing guitar and is a competitive triathlete having completed the Hawaii Ironman in 2003 and 2006. Jamie is passionate about fitness and good nutrition. He is married with four daughters and resides in rural Pennsylvania.

Lawrence Doyle

Board Member

Mr. Doyle is the founder of Ubiquity Holdings, Inc., a Florida Holding Company with diversified interest.  Currently he holds the positions of Chairman and CEO, along with three (3) additional partners, the company operates over 14 companies with interest that range from Aviation, Technology, Logistics (nationally and internationally) Digital Printing, Publishing, Networking, Distribution, Material Management, Recruiting, International Freight, Graphic Design and several others.  Ubiquity Holdings, Inc. is developing a new concept in grocery distribution. The new company will be known as My Pantry Express, Inc. (MPE) with a dba; www.mypantryexpress.com. By utilizing technology, the company will introduce a new way of doing your grocery shopping from your home with delivery in 24hrs and, an income opportunity for the member.  The company has been in planning for several years and will be ready for operations in the Fall of 2011.  Having been involved in an accident in 2006 and understanding how the quality of food effected his recovery, Mr. Doyle has re-directed the mission of MPE to help improve the quality of the food supply in the U.S.  MPE is also creating a Foundation that will be the first member of their network, with all profits being directed to the feeding of children and families in need.  And also directing these dollars to assist farmers, producers and manufactures to supply the American table with a higher/cleaner quality of food.  Most of the existing companies have been verticlly or horizonally integrated to support the development of MPE.

Dr. Eiko Klimant

Board Member

Dr. Eiko Klimant is a board-certified medical oncologist in the Department of Medical Oncology at CTCA at Eastern Regional Medical Center. “My goal is to create a meaningful experience for the patient and their caregivers, which includes creating conditions and finding therapies to help assure the best possible outcome for each individual patient,” says Dr. Klimant.  Dr. Klimant earned a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. There, he was a biology honors student and earned an International Educational Scholarship.  Dr. Klimant then earned a medical degree from Heinrich Heine University School of Medicine in Duesseldorf, Germany. He also completed subinternships in internal medicine and surgery at the University of Nantes in Nantes, France, where he received an ERAMUS scholarship.

Following medical school, Dr. Klimant served as Junior House Officer in internal medicine at the University of Glasgow, Inverclyde Royal Hospital in Greenock, Scotland. He also spent several years as a resident in general surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine at the University of Rennes affiliated hospitals in France.  In 1997, Dr. Klimant moved back to the United States. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Norwalk Hospital, an affiliate of Yale University in Norwalk, Connecticut. Dr. Klimant then completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Klimant also served as a Bayer Research Fellow at Bayer Corporation in West Haven, Connecticut. There, he was involved in clinical research on strategic drug development as well as clinical trials of new anti-cancer agents.  Prior to joining CTCA, Dr. Klimant was appointed as Medical Director, and later as Chairman, of the Department of Oncology/Hematology at the Marshfield Clinic in Weston/Wausau, Wisconsin. At Marshfield Clinic, Dr. Klimant was a coinvestigator in multiple oncology clinical research trials. He was also a member of the IRB for some time. In addition, Dr. Klimant was a member of the faculty at the University of Wisconsin.
At CTCA, Dr. Klimant works within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered cancer care. “CTCA empowers patients. The integrative care model puts the patient at the center. Patients’ needs are addressed on multiple levels, including innovative scientific cancer treatment, spiritual and psychological support, naturopathic medicine, and an individualized nutritional program,” he says.

Dr. Klimant is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American College of Physicians, and the Society for Integrative Oncology. He is fluent in English, German and French.

Susan Park

Board Member

A native of Seattle, Susan has always cherished the great outdoors. She runs every day with her four beloved dogs and tends her 2 acre gardens in Philadelphia where she grows organic lettuce, sweet potatoes, peas, and cabbage, among others. A recent empty nester, Susan now devotes her time to educating the public about the importance of healthy eating and donating fruits and vegetables to those less fortunate. Susan is passionate about helping those in need and works tirelessly to educate and supply communities with fresh produce. She, along with her husband Sam, share duel residence between Philadelphia and Arlington, Virginia.

Nicole Marquis

Project Manager

Nicole Marquis is the Project Manager for Get Real Get RAW.  With over 13 years in the restaurant and service industry, coupled with an avid passion for nutrition and wellness, Nicole Marquis is thrilled to be a part of Get Real Get Raw. Nicole holds a BA in Communications from Temple University. Her passion for the arts and classical drama blossomed while she resided in London, England where she studied at the world renowned The Old Vic Theatre. While living in California and studying at the California Institute of the Arts MFA program, her passions transformed into activism for the environment, animal welfare and people’s health. Her drive to share what Eating Green is all about comes from both global and personal perspectives. After having seen the course of her family’s health and well-being drastically transform by making healthier eating choices, she wants to be on the front lines of educating the public and providing a solution. She believes it is her purpose to debunk the myths about eating healthy, to inform each of us that we can live in communion with the planet and our fellow inhabitants and to make it simple, easy and fun.
